I felt quite immersed playing HL2: Ep2. The environment felt real and unlimited and it really succeeded at building tension leading up to the standoffs where Freemen and the friendly NPCs had to keep the enemies at bay. I can't freaking wait for Ep3!

edit: I also agree with whomever stated EvE online. Despite not having much of an "environment" to get immersed into, the incredible attention to detail in all aspects of the game can really draw anyone in pretty hard
