I5 650 temps and volatge Problems!!!!!!

Thread Starter
I have a problem where my i5 650 is overclocked at 4.2ghz, runnung a MSI H55-p31 board and V6GT cooler master in a sigma Aegis Case, is the temp normal at 70 degree's under full load for 24 hours and idle at 35 -40 degree's. also sometimes when i reboot the pc says overclock failure restoring defaults then i have to redo the overclock, it runs stable for days but causes problems when i move it for a case mod or a Lan or maintenance. My voltage is at 1.387v and the ram timings and QPI are at there defaults 1333 and 6400., Is it my QPI as it is standard at 6400, or should i just up the voltage, only concern is that more voltage means i could damage my processor and board. And limit the life of my processor.

vcore / core voltage is the one you should change

you need to raise the VTT when you reach higher overclocks and/or are getting BSOD code 124.
