i want a bluray drive/burner

Thread Starter
Alright, so i want a blue ray drive, i dont really need a burner, as i honestly dont see myself ever burning one, its gotta be black, and heres what i want, i want it to be a front loader (no tray pops out) ive tried finding stuff, im sure something exists, i have a pretty decent dvd burner, so i see no need for a blu-ray burner, and i know that blu-ray readers are much cheaper

also, when i get a blu ray drive, will WMP be able to play a blu ray or am i gunna need to get VLC again?

Something like these?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...lim%20Internal

I can't imagine why you would want a slot-load blu-ray reader for a desktop...or if they even make a 5.25" model for one.

And a lot of people use PowerDVD for blu-ray playback. It comes with most internal drives now.

Edit: found this: http://www.digistor.com/DIGISTOR-5-2...Drive?page=oem

Company seems pretty sketchy though lol

I just bought a bulk BD-rom drive.. (no software included)

and no, windows media player, vlc and winamp cannot play it.

the codec or whatever costs money. I had to buy PowerDVD. However, it works!

Well this saddens me..... I was considering getting a Bluray reader for my new 1080p LED, but the thought of anything but VLC frightens me!
