Best value Air cooling solution for ref 6970

I'll be replacing my 6850s with a 6970, but I don't like the stock heatsink on it at all. What are the best options that don't make the card wider than 2 slots?

The Xtreme is a three-slot cooler just like basically every other aftermarket heatsink. The only two-slot cooler I know of is the Scythe Setsugen and I don't know if it's powerful enough for a 6970.

You could go for the gigabyte super overclock 6970, it has a non reference cooler. Or the msi Lightning.

Basically you have 2 choices of dual slot non reference cooling HD6970:-
MSI Lightning and Gigabyte Windforex3


Brief analysis:
-MSI Lightning has a slightly higher factory pre-overclocking (940 MHz vs Gigabyte's 920MHz)
-MSI should have a higher ultimate overclocked speed but Gigabyte should be the quieter of the two
-MSI costs $449 vs Gigabyte's $399
-MSI barely qualifies as a dual slot card because its width is 40mm. Gigabyte is better with a width of 38mm. (The width between 2 slots = 40.7mm)
-MSI uses two 8-pin PCIe vs Gigabyte uses one 6-pin and one 8-pin PCIe connectors

Personally, I prefer the Gigabyte's.
