RAZER BlackWidow Ultimate Mechanical Keyboard
Use Promo Code: EMCYTZT549
Deal expires at 11:59pm PDT on Tuesday, 6/21/2011!

Simple copy and paste but a good deal for a cheap mechanical keyboard with LED lights! I don't want that crap but you might! smile.gif

...I should be a salesman! biggrin.gif

Anyway, I'd say to grab a 2-year warranty at checkout since this might break on ya. I mean it IS a Razer! rolleyes.gif

I know some really dislike this thing but I personally think it's better than my ABS M1.

It's good for a budget. You get what you pay for with this I think. Another $80 could get you a DECK.

I saw this when I woke up as well. If only the non-Ultimate version were on sale...

I'm not a big fan of the spacebar pressing multiple keys either.

I'd buy this in a heartbeat. I loved my BW.

You know, until it broke. But amazon replaced it quickly.

Well, I definitely didn't have that issue when I had mine (yes, I want mine back).

It's one of those issues that are present when you buy the board, and I would say it's less important than durability/long term issues. The reason I say this is because you can return the keyboard as soon as you get it, you won't wake up one day and find yourself without warranty and a scraping spacebar because the keys expanded.

Huh, I went back to Fry's last night and checked out their BWU that was on display again. Sure enough it was catching on the keys on either side. It seemed hit & miss on if it did it. I think what actually turned me off from looking at it now is that the plastic lip in front of the spacebar seems to sit high and it's almost like the spacebar dips below that edge when you press it. I guess it would force me to hold my hands correctly instead of resting my wrists though while I type.
