Thread Starter
Is worth to buy old or new cheap gfx which support physx and use it only for that. I ordered GA-990FXA-UD3 mobo 2 x16 2 x4 pci-e
Will work to have 560 on x16 slot and like gt 210 (34€) in x4 slot do i also need 1 more SLI bridge for gfx using only for physx and is is this possible as i have LC arkangel 850W PSU (3xpci-e all 12V lines are 60A (molex-pci-e adapter should be ok right ?)

yes your PSU should be able to handle that and no its not really worth it. Do you have 2 560's already? You're wording is a little confusing. Fill in your sig so its easier to help you.

You'd be better off with just 560 SLI, a 210 for physX would lower your FPS.

No, you don't need an SLI bridge for Physx. Also, it's not worth it to put in an older card just for Physx when you have 560's in SLI, that should be enough to handle Physx also.

Should be enough? They are more than enough. SLI 560s is nearly as good as a 580. Throwing in a 210 would just lower his FPS and waste money.

If you feel like upgrading something get a quality PSU, 550w is enough.

Buying a card for physx is pointless, there are only about 3 games that support it.

Only in a Physx heavy game like Mafia 2 he would benefit from a dedicated card, even with SLI 560's. But it would have to be at least a GTX 275.
