6870 memory clock not reducing, 60c idle.. - Page 2

Apparently this is a "feature" to stop screen flickering:

So, is it safe to keep it at 60c idle?

60c isn't high at all for a graphics card. A little more air in the case wouldn't hurt though.

it's definitely the 2 monitors. the same thing happpens to me.

it also stays high on if i leave a browser tab open on youtube, as well.

I'm using a CM 690 II at the minute, one front and bottom intake, two top exhausts and a Push/pull H60 for the CPU, I don't think there's anything more I can do for airflow other than getting expensive fans and hope for the best unfortunately .
It's a XFX 6870.
I do plan on at somepoint getting a 650D once I get the money because it's just so sexy, I have a love affair with Corsair right now, maybe I should get one of those VGA coolers that go into a PCI slot to push cold air into the GPU fan, it'll look ugly though..
