i got the corsair vengeance 2x4gb 1866 mhz ddr3
but i cant overclock at all now, before i was able to hit 3.8....whats going on ?

Wrong... kinda. Your RAM speed is what is holding you back but once you get to about 1600Mhz RAM speed its all about timings. low latency and tight timings is where your performance is at on AMD rigs. For Intel it's different and not my area to talk about.

Try to keep in mind if you didn't know that dual channel kits will always perform more smoothly than quad channel kits on AMD rigs as well.

i have dual channel ram, its a dual channel kit, 8gb though.i will play about to see what happens,

hmmmmmmm im finding it hard to run this ram at 1866, any help ?....also bios voltage and voltage in aida64 is way different, how come ?
