Which is the best for a 4.1 speaker setup and occasional use of HD25's?

Keep in mind that Xonars have a different kind of bass.My affirmation sounds strange ,but ... you ll know what i m talking when you ll compare them.

LE: The Xtreme Audio stuff will sound identically to the Audigy SE ,as they are very similar in the Creative chip used (some Audigy 2 chip with HW processing off ).
Get it only if you need PCI-E.
And the audigy SE is much cheaper.
Audigy SE soudns a little better than the Audigy 2 Value you are selling though.
If you want Creative get the "real" X-Fi ones.

Well i can't really compare the sounds, im not getting all of them lol.

Which would be the best for me though?

After many a night on several audio forums and personal testing, anything less than the Creative HD is not worth purchasing. While comparing the Xonar series, the DG has a built in headphone amp and indistinguishable from the more expensive DS.

Having in mind what you have now you should go for D1/DX Xonar wise or for X-Fi Titanium to feel some new sensations .

I have no prefference asus or creative, pci or pcie. The xonars are a little cheaper too. I just don't know then which to go with.

The DG is only 5.1 but i don't think i will ever get a 7.1 system. So the DS is out then, if it has no difference.

I m just saying that the Audigy 2 SE you have should be changed with something better than what you ve linked.

DG is close to what the Audigy SE is and the Audigy SE is close to what Audigy 2 SE is (but with a little better DAC s for the Audigy SE) .
The DS is somehow to expensive for what it is and sounds almost identically to the DG .
From all beeing the same you would choose the cheapest ,but then again you have a Audigy 2 SE that with KX drivers sounds good .

Though decision you have to make.

between the 4 cards

frankly 3 are BIG NO and 1 is very good , its the DG

the DS is waste of money , marketing gap only (between the DG and the DX/D1)

so between the 4 i would say the DG

more money get the DX/D1 or the X-Fi titanium if you game alot
