The single player is a little boring and does not represent the greatness of the multiplayer package.

Multiplayer: I must say the scale is of epic proportion and the gameplay with vehicles, choppers and 16vs16 is awesome. Graphically speaking, the game is one of the most impressive shooters around.

However I also have some issues that I'd like to discuss, I play mostly hardcore because I like it better than way (less health, more realistic).

1. Leveling-up is unfair: When you start, you are very disadvantaged compared to the veterans. For the assault class, you have no scopes on your guns and it takes forever to unlock them. For the recon, you don't have magnum ammo and it takes 2 body shot to kill even with the M95, even in hardcore. It is a little frustrating to be killed by the enemy in one shot while not being able to do it. For the engineer, all you have is the basic RPG which can't do much against choppers. Speaking of choppers, how do you take them down without having an AA gun? Any class effective against them?

2. Skill: People are good. I am not bad but people are insanely good. I must say I think I get kill more 50% of the time by headshots. Often, those guys kill me with their pistol with a single bullet. An Assault guy kills me at 150m in a single burst. I often hit them with 2 burst and still it's not a kill. I am wondering if aimbots are common of people just insane with their guns? I play only on PunkBuster servers.

3. Brightness and contrast: Is it me or it is very tough to find a settings that works for all maps, I have a Samsung 46" D630 in PC mode (no lag). I lowered the contrast to 30 to be able to see the enemies in the shadows. I cranked the brightness to 60 to compensate.

4. Mouse: I have a cheap mouse. Inland wireless for my HTPC. I play on the couch on the arm rest. I am quite comfortable. I placed the USB received with a good orientation to ensure no signal loss. How important is the mouse DPI? What would be an affordable wireless (8ft+) gaming mouse? What sensitivity should I use? Mouse acceleration?

5. Vsync: I like it on to remove tearing, what kind of lag are we talking about? Do you guys play without it?

I am looking forward to hearing from you.
1. Leveling up is not unfair, and doesn't really put anyone at an advantage over others. It takes a short time to unlock the weapons, and I've been able to frag perfectly fine with the starting weapons. Kill choppers with your RPG-7 until you unlock the AT4, just don't suck. The AA gun is fine and dandy, but almost always is the first thing to be taken out. You can also use a tank if you're good, and the chopper pilot is trash.

2. People certainly do hack in BFBC2, I've seen it quite a bit. However, there are also a lot of people that understand the recoil patterns of some of the guns, and know how to count or time their shots required to kill a person.

Hardcore to me is better, not because it's realistic, but because it doesn't require 15 bullets to kill ONE person. Additionally, you don't get that stupid bright red triangle above your head that pretty much serves as a sort of wallhack for the opposing team just for pressing "Q" while looking in your general direction or throwing a motion sensor. Might as well not even have obstacles to hide behind if they can see that you're behind them...

Enjoy my frag video(s)

Actually, my setup is great. I have been building it for a while now and it is almost perfect.

I got great sound from my 5.1 surround system with 15" subwoofer and 12" fronts and 6" bose surrounds.

I have a good gaming rig, enough to max out what is out there and hopefully BF3.

I have a great TV 1080p 120hz from Samsung. 46".

The immersion feeling is great, very impressive. I got my own house so no noise restriction. Battlefield sound is really good and worth a decent sound system.

I have a futon couch so the armrest is made of wood. I screwed a large wood board where I put my mousepad and mouse. I put the keyboard on a pillow on my knees.

I am very confortable and I don't feel like buying a desk. Actually it would be going backwards for me.

i think its far from stupid... if you notice the people on each team are all wearing headsets; and being BF on a whole is a squad based, teamwork game its quite warranted. in real life when a soldier meets an insurgent or some kind of opposing force he alerts everyone in his squad and everyone on his radio channel. i think the triangle is very realistic

i agree , leveling isn't unfair. you gotta start somewhere.
helps you learn your weapons, how to shoot and how to burst them.
yeah it may seem unfair because everyone uses MGNM AMMO x[ so you may seem as though they are killing you faster than you can shoot them.

killing enemies without MGNM AMMO is possible, very possible actually.
unlocks is fairly easy, you can finish all unlocks for the 4 classes by rank 10-12. i know i did, and its been boring since, cause there are no unlocks after you finish it. ^^

2 shots in hardcore ? are you shooting their feet? aim on the upper chest/neck/head. aim at critical spots of a body , thats how the game is.
taking down choppers? be a sneaky engineer, after you get your trace dart, your RPG wont be as useless as you think .

you might feel disadvantaged by the veterans , they go mostly assault, with their 40mm grenades and ammo box right next to them, running by windows and shooting you. just cause they are veterans, dont mean they are very skilled. means they've racked a lot of points over a large amount of time. something to that extent.

also, playing with players who kick your ass all round long, makes you a better player. playing against good players only increases your experience, while playing with wookies and owning them, doesnt make you that good of a player. just a wookie spanker. its fun to get your ass kicked by good players . makes its more interesting.

the only thing that sucks is when you got a squad member who wont move up and sits back and snipes, and your team gets base raped. i dont believe in team base raping the other team, i think the team getting base raped should stop *****ing and stop camping and get out of their spawn.

use medic class if you want to jump ranks fast, medic gets tons of points. reviving + health kit and your LMG . awesome for stat padding ^^

good luck on the battlefield ^^
