Not really... As long as you keep temperatures within the "safe" ranges you can go higher.

Please know that those voltages I use are not for daily computer usage; I set them for short benching runs... All in all; the pc is not on at those voltages for more than a few minutes while I run the benchmarks and while it is on I have two 260CFM fan strapped to the heatshink going full blast just to keep temps in check.

Just be careful, make sure your temps are within the acceptable ranges and please don't kill cpu....

To be honest I don't take my CPU above 50 degrees. I'm sitting on 44 degrees at 100% load with a 4ghz overlock and my Northbridge at 3ghz with voltage at 1.4625.

I got it up to 4.2ghz, with 1.525v, but it became unstable and I wasn't really comfortable with pushing it any further without better cooling. It still stayed under 50 degrees though, lol.

I could set my case fans to a higher speed but the noise is too much for everyday use.
