Now that Verizon has adjusted to having the top dog label, time to see how much the market can bare! Gotta love it when the two biggest cell phone carries also happen to control all the back-haul as well.

Thread Starter
I've used maybe 2gbs at most so it doesn't really apply to me, but if you're already requiring me to purchase a data plan because I wanted a smart phone...how are you going to further bill me for the amount of data?

As I already stated.

I've used 1.4GB this month on 3G. Verizon had a soft cap of 5GB with their unlimited data. People reportingly were able to get way past it as long as they were not blatantly tethering by downloading large files or torrenting large files.

I'm assuming that this 2GB cap will be a soft cap as well, but hopefully there will be a way to retain my 5GB unlimited data plan similarly to how Attel costumers have kept their truly unlimited data.

Please tell me more about this "soft cap" you speak of? I never experienced any slow down after 5GB.

I use 500-800mb/day.

So if you have an unlimited plan currently will that go away?

Or will you get to keep it?

This sucks... I'm not sure their is an answer to this regulation isn't going to solve this and on-top of that you can't move to a competitor.
Seriously? Why can't you do... 1GB- $10, 2GB- $20, 3GB- $30. That is what I want. Not $10 for only 75KB.
