I simply stated it's easy to aim with a control pad. Most people who find it hard either suck at using one, or haven't adjusted to using one.

And the argument is exactly the same when putting the shoe on the other foot. Mouse and keyboard is also easy to use when you adjust to it.

People shouldn't stereotype over choice.
i do miss the ability to walk when i use a keyboard.....like if i am trying to inch along, on the pc i have to repeatedly "bounce" forward instead of simply slowly move forward like a joystick allows you to do.

Where do you draw the line? 60FPS isn't smooth.. is 70? 80? 200? 700? 1,000,000,000,000?
There is no definite smooth. Just different levels of it. 30 would be low, 60 would be medium, 100+ good, 150+ butter, 200+ okay that's quite enough TYVM

What? I play plenty of Halo and Battlefield on console. I've been playing consoles since the N64. I never said it's impossible to game on a control pad. I'm saying it's more precise to use a mouse.. because it is. I have no idea what you're trying to argue. Are you saying they're equal? Apparently when I say they're not, I'm turning it into a "mouse and keyboard is superior" debate.

For you.
For most people 30FPS is competitively playable. 60 FPS is perfectly smooth and anything over is overkill.

You're pulling random and abstract numbers out of a hat and assigning them degrees of "smoothness". That doesn't make you any more right than anyone else.

Then what is your point? You're trying to tell people something they already know.

No because it varies what people consider smooth. I'm just stating what it is for me.

And my opinion DOES have more value if I have experienced "those numbers" myself, unlike 99% of the gaming population.

You didn't state what it was for you. You said "LOL 60 FPS isn't smooth", directly contradicting me. If you have some individual scale you use to grade the smoothness of animation, that's fine, just don't contradict others.

And no, your experience doesn't mean that much. I can go into BestBuy or Walmart and look at the 120hz televisions. They look smooth-er, but certainly not enough to warrant their price, and I certainly don't need that much. It almost looks unnaturally smooth, in my opinion.
