to be honest id start your migration off that pump and replace it entirely.

:T

i dont recommend mixing of pumps, unless u have a really high restrictive system.
Because u never want to over work the weaker pump, which can speed up that pump to die.

If you were to move to a 2 pump system though, would you want them series or parallel? I assume 2 pumps parallel would be absolutely fine as no pump stresses the other, and if one gets completely clogged (not likely at all) then the other pump would not be restricted one bit.

@Naekuh: I appreciate your worrying, but I think I'll chance it; from the very little skimming that I did on that explosion thread, XSPC seems to at least honor their warrantes.

So that's it huh? I'll pull the trigger sometime next week...

I'll also make another thread if it explodes on me

Haha, we'll have to see about that

Nobody seems to have answered the fifth question though All I have based on some old threads/posts is that I seem to need some barbs for it...?

On another note: as I was bumbling along this site, I somehow managed to accrue reps! Now where's that dancing emoticon?

Ah, missed that one. I'd suggest doin what I do. Add a little extra length to the tubes (not much at all) and you'll be able to pull it out a little bit to fill it. I placed mine where I needed and cut my tubes with it out enough to fill, then filled, and can't tell there is any extra. You don't want them to be super tight anyways. Barbs come with the XSPC kits, and work wonderfully

Do you think you can take a pic of the top with the fill port exposed? I remember working with my friend's HAF this past weekend, but I barely paid attention to any of the water cooling features on it.

An angle that's directly above, maybe tilted a bit so I can see the front 5.25" bay covers, would be great. I can probably estimate from there, though it's obviously not guaranteed. A ruler would be helpful as well

Edit: Never mind. The fill port's on the wrong side. Not gonna work directly under it. You could put the res a slot down and route some tubing, I guess...

Work, work...

(One of you; I don't know which one, but one of you just read that in the Warcraft III Orc voice. Or was it Human? Oh god, it's been so long...)

I'll get it up as soon as I can, but I don't get off for another 3.5 hours

Thanks much for your concern though; very helpful

EDIT: I see...so some tubing magic is necessary, eh?

@KDB - ah, so simple. Since I'm so arse-nal about my computer's tidiness, I think I'll keep your solution as a plan B. I don't want to move anything if I can help it past testing/tweaking. Thanks though!
