Read the edit I looked up pics to make sure it was even theoretically possible, and it turns out it isn't... you'll want to use a piece of tubing to connect the ports if you want to use that route.

It's not entirely necessary; you could give the tubing some slack and pull the res out a bit when you need to fill. Personally, my res is going to be towards the bottom of my cage so I can just take off the covers from the slots above and fill with a funnel (and some tubing to make sure it all goes in).

Hm, I guess we'll have to see with what I feel at the moment of installation. As of right now, I think I'll stick it up as close as I can and try to maneuver tubing from the fill-port to the XSPC res. I'm pretty sure I read somewhere I need some sort of special connections or summat - I'll figure it out sometime I guess.

My thinking is that, if I were to place it any lower, the pump would have to work harder to pump the water against gravity. The difference may be negligible, but minuscule things can cause gigantic headaches given time and quantity.

EDIT: After some more research, I have come up with a conclusion I find satisfactory

To use the fillport on the HAF-932, one would need a DangerDen FillPort. After that, I'm going to assume I would treat it as any other part of the line - some form of barb, tubing and assembly is required.

I think that about does it for this thread
