SWTOR graphics. Are you upgrading? I am - Page 3

Sorry to "revive" this thread but going by what you guys are saying, would going for a MSI 560 Hawk be a smart move in the sense I will be playing this game heavily (and I would like to max this game out if possible), but also I would want to play games like BF3 and Skyrim when they are out too (at as high settings as possible)?

- SWTOR will run on virtually anything

- Syrim is a Dx9 console port

- BF3 specs aren't final, runs less than smooth on a GTX 580 and it's been hinted that it'll take next gen hardware to max it adequately("the computer that can max our game has yet to be built"<- scary quote in a world with sandy bridge and the 6990).

The BF3 requirements have been proven to be fake.

You will want a 570-580 to be safe to play BF3, thats what it was run on for the demos. A 560 will crush SWTOR and Skyrim.

So I assume that a MSI 560 Hawk would in theory (as we don't know yet until the game requirements are released) would be able to max out something like SWTOR relatively easily?

Wait have you already upgraded your sig rig for SWOTR? cause if you havent already upgraded...im possitive youll max that game easily.

Have you seen the gameplay videos? I really doubt its going to take a "top of the line" computer to play that game.

Rift is a joke. Gamebryo on an MMO? Terrible idea.

No I won't upgrade for SWTOR because I won't need to. Just look at the graphics. They are reminiscent of WoW but better.

They already said they are building this game so that older machines can run it.

I could get by on Ultra settings but really want to custom supermax everything. My upgrade before SWTOR is adding another 560ti. What are your plans?

I added another 460 to my system a little while back and the results are great. SLI seems to work well with almost everything I tried.
