Ram Speed question

Thread Starter
Okay so currently i have 2x2 corsair dom ram @ 1333mhz in an Asus striker II NSE mobo. The specs on mobo can support up to 8gb total at 1333mhz or 1600mhz OC. I have currently OC's FSB to 1600mhz no problem, so i plan on increasing ram to 8gb (2x4) and idk if i should buy 1333mhz or 1600mhz

1333mhz.... no reason to buy RAM with more headroom if the mobo doesn't support it. Just overclock all four sticks to 1600

Okay understandble, and since im not to up on my ram timings here 2 options for same price. First up is 1333mhz ram Corsair dominator
http://ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=58952

Next up same price 2000mhz ram Corsair Dominator Gt with fan kit but says xmp....not sure what it means i thinks its extended memory something
http://ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=56253

If im correct i would assume the 1333mhz stuff is better because from what i understand lower timings are better?

You're asking somebody who runs stock speeds and timings on their memory. Sorry
