Verizon and AT&T jumped off the unlimited data, so I'm looking at probably Sprint or Virgin Mobile. I like Android. And I call people, too. Sometimes.

whaddya guys think? I probably won't get anything til the end of summer, I just want to start looking around.

Do you want a physical keyboard or just a virtual one or both? If you go with T-mobile there a number of phones u can get though that are android such as:

1. HTC MyTouch 3G (No physical keyboard)
2. Motorola Cliq (Physical keyboard and virtual)

both under $175 and have custom roms of the latest Android OS (Gingerbread 2.3.4)

my friend got an evo 4g, doesn't fit me personally, i have an epic 4g (absolutely beautiful screen)

be aware, most companies are hiding this now. if you purchase a phone that classifies as a smartphone, it automatically adds a 10 dollar charge to your bill/mo.

there are lots of great phones, no data caps, you could probably get 300min, unlimited text, unlimited data for around 50
rather sneaky if u ask me

You can get a HTC EVO 4 from Radio Shack for $99 with a new contract or renewed 2 year agreement. That's a deal compared to the Sprint website. Just my

EDIT: Here's the link for that deal which BTW the EVO 4 is now FREE w/new contract!

I don't care if it's real or virtual, though I'd probably be more comfortable with a virtual one. And yes, that is a bit sneaky. Problem is I'm interested in smartphone capabilities a lot if I don't get one this summer I will down the road

Aight no problem take a look around you find something for your needs. T-mobile pre-paid would be in your room

The best Sprint plan imo is $80/mo I believe and it allows for 750 anytime minutes, unlimited mobile to mobile calling, unlimited texting and unlimited data, this includes the $10/month smartphone charge. Also I wouldn't say they hide it, while you are configuring a plan it mentions at the top of the page that there is a $10/month charge for having a high data usage phone (ie. a smartphone).

sprint....right now the EVO 4G is $99 with a new contract. Im at 11,00 txt this month and for 1 phone you would pay $70 a month for everything unlimited except only 450min for lan lines but calls to ANY cellphone carrier is free and unlimited and with no caps. I pay $207 for 5 phones with unlimited txt, data, minutes to any cell phone and 1500min to lan lines
