My pc is freezing could it be the ssd? - Page 2

yeah I personally don't think it is the SSD. Does it just randomly freeze even surfing the net? no BSOD, no reboot?

i've had this problem before too. prime runs stable but then occasionally windows will just completely freeze. but I just put it down to having some pretty bad components in my system, generic psu (need to change this soon! lol) and a pretty awful oc'ing board (doesnt lock the pci-e bus). however you have a good quality set up so thats probably not it.

I also had this problem when speedstepping was enabled. I've seen you've got speedstepping enabled. Maybe try disabling that and see if its any better. hope that helps.

EDIT: if disabling speedstepping doesnt help try disabling turbo too, however I've never used a board with turbo so I'm not sure on that one.

Sorry i disabled speedstepping already i forgot to add that and i cannot turn off turbo mode because when i am trying put x34 multiplier i can disable turbo mode but it stays at 3.4ghz.
and when i am trying to put 35multiplier or above it automaticly turns on the turbo mode and goes to 4.8ghz and you cannot turn it off.
