Your opinion i guess but features and functionality look superb for the price.

Both the NZXT and the HAF 932 both look ugly TBH.
(HAF 932 is terrible inside where is the black interior!!!!)

If anything the 400R looks similar to the CM690II.

I think the NZXT is a little bit weak tbh. I've checked it out in person before and it just felt flimsy and poorly made. I'm currently using the 942, so I'm sure the 932 would be a comparable performer. At the end of the day though it's really going to be the case you want, and not the one we think you should want.

That's true but the OP is after advice on which to choose .

If the white of the Phantom catches OP's eyes, perhaps the white edition of the 690 II Advanced should be considered. It is cheaper ($119) than the black version ($125) as well.

I also considered getting that one. Looks quite nice eh! But I'm rather going with HAF-X.

The 690 II is the case for "easiest" to build.

HAF-X is a nice case, of course. However, its price is almost double the price of the 690 II Adv. Different price category means different story.

For a relatively 'simple' rig as OP's, I reckon 690 II Adv is quite matching.

I have the black phantom as well and I haven't seen anything on it to suggest that it's "poorly" made. What is your future build like? I have my sig rig in mine and it works great with it. The slots for cable management are perfect and the placement of the fans really excels. I love my fan controller on the top of the case as well as the locking mechanism for the side panels on both sides. I never really have to screw them in.

One thing that bugged me is that it has two huge fan slots on the top of the case, but it only comes with one so you'll have to purchase the extra yourself.

it wasn't that much money, if you really wanted to you could always say your other fan got broken >_> as shady as that is
