You should really fix the title.

I hope the next Duke game is actually as good as every would expect it to be.

Great!

I liked Duke Nukem Forever.

Almost all of the critics just missed the point: Duke is meant to be cheesy, meant to be rude, meant to be childish.

I mean, come on, I've seen reviews complaining about the Voice Acting? Really? For a game that aims to be a straight-forward, light-hearted shooter, like duke?

Come one now...

This is def why I wanna give it a chance over what critics say. It looks like its supposed to be plain ole rude/crude/sexual/shooting fun!

yes, it is.

I mean, I was 12 when Duke Nukem 3D came out, and I am old enough to appreciate the traits of old Duke in this new game.

I wonder if all the critics are even old enough to really KNOW Duke Nukem as Character, more than as a Game?

Well I think its moreso they're comparing it to the FPS games we see nowadays, and its one of those things "thats too different to where its shunned" kinda deal.

And that's why the critics didn't appreciate the game for what it is, IMO.

Comparing ruined the reviews, and in a way blinded the reviewers. It's a nice game in its own right, I think.

the problem about the critics is that they compare it too much to CoD
