GTX470 + ENZOTECH MOS-C1 VRM heatsinks

Thread Starter
Guys I plan to use custom Vrm Heatsinks for my 470 with my AXP cooler.
I was thinking of using these Pure solid copper VRM sinks from Enzotech.

Do you think these will do a better or just as good of a job then the cheap vrm sinks the AXP already includes.

If you do a good job of covering all the VRMs with as much copper as possible they should do a better job than the aluminum ones included in the AXP. Some things for your consideration, I would try and fit the largest amount of copper on there that you can, you should be able to fit these at least, if not these. They do come with thermal tape included but it may be more practical to buy a larger sheet and cut it to the shapes you require, that way you could just cover the entire area in thermal tape then stick all the heatsinks over it as close to each other as possible. Here is a picture of your card so you can plan how you want to tackle this.

I used some of those on a couple of 470s as well as the thicker ones, if you do a search i posted some pics on here showing it. They are very good quality and the sticky tape they come with is far better than the rubbish they usually put on the cheap aluminum heat sinks.
