It is possible to create a completely new UI (and Qt makes UI's fairly easy to create) that resemble iOS, Android, WP7, WebOS, or anything else (software patents aside). The unseen parts of the software are the more important parts, and from the demonstrations it seems that Nokia did fairly well on that count.

@bumsoil

If there isn't an option to turn off double tap to power on, I think that we'll see new records for butt dialing and power draining (is it possible that the programming checks the proximity sensor and only registers the double tap if the proximity sensor allows?).

You wouldn't have sounded like an ass, but you didn't contribute anything to the thread afterward.

I've always liked Nokia phones, we'll see what's up with the mobile OS's and handsets when it's time to upgrade in a few months.

hey dumb grammar nazi, infomations is not correct but information is neither plural or singular. They are un-countable.

So, if u wanna say informations, then say pieces of information. That is the correct way.
