ROCCAT Kova plus, problem

I play on a pretty low sensitivity in FPS games. So I tend to sweep the mouse across the mouse pad quite a bit.

Problem is, if I sweep sideways quickly a few times the mouse just spazzes out. Sometimes the cursor quickly goes straight up in the air, sometimes it goes down to the gound. Then I regain control. But it's enough to get me killed and frankly, it's just annoying having to worry about it.

One time, it spazzed out so much that I even did a few really fast 360 degrees spins. confused.gif

I've tried different DPIs and all available polling rates. But the problem persists.

This has never happened to me with any other gaming mouse.

So do you guys reckon this is a faulty sensor or...?

What mousepad is it? The sensor is known for a lower perfect control speed

Have you managed to fix the problem? Official info from roccat site suggests that the maximum speed should be around 130 inches per second.

Have you tried cleaning the sensor lens or your mousepad? No idea what else could cause that problem. If even that doesn't help you should replace it or get your money back, depending on if you like the mouse or not...

Also, you should write a short review about it if you can, cause you're pretty much the only person here with that mouse, and I've been interested in it for quite some time. biggrin.gif
