I Want To Overclock But My Bios Wont Allow It! - Page 3

This deserves its own post:

You can try these two tools. I personally haven't tried them because I don't have an AMD board.

Your motherboard is running on an nforce chipset which Clockgen doesn't support. The official nvidia tool is supposed to allow for adjusting settings on nforce based mobos.

NVIDIA® nTune is the ultimate utility for accessing, monitoring, and adjusting your system components, including temperature and voltages with clear, user-friendly control panels. Overclock your system for highest performance or underclock it for near silent operation. All changes are performed within the Microsoft® Windows® interface – enabling full functionality without the need to make changes in the BIOS and reboot your system.
This is also worth a shot - AMD's own OverDrive Software.

And finally, the PhenomMsrTweaker
http://phenommsrtweake.sourceforge.net/

The Tweaker should be documented on their page, so try it out.

See if any of those options work for you, and post back your results.

Same procedure as Clockgen, just a slightly different program. Its worth a shot before shelling out money.

EDIT: The model of your desktop might also be useful. I can try and see what might work.
My desktop is a HP Pavilion P6210Y

I'll give ntune a shot. I've already tried AMD Overdrive. It's not compatible with my processor. Also I'm almost positive that I have an AM3 board. Not AM2+.

I installed ntune but it doesn't work. I looked at the page for it and it only supports older chipsets. Mine is in the nforce 7 series. Ntune only supports up to the 6 series.
