Case: Cooler Master HAF 932 Advanced
PSU: Corsair AX850
HDD: 2TB WD Caviar Black
GPU: 2x GTX 580 SLI eVGA
ODD: LG Electronics 10X Blu-ray SATA Writer Drive with Software WH10LS30K
Liquid Cooling:
EK Supreme HF CPU Block
EK GTX580 GPU Blocks

need recommendations on the mobo though...any thoughts?

Stick with the P8P67 Pro/Deluxe, unless you really need the overkill of the UD7/MIVE.

Looks like a slick build. Was gonna do SLI 580's myself, decided to do two computers instead haha.

Wouldn't bother with that board...it's overpriced and doesn't even do PCI-E x16/x16 in SLI....it's x8/x8. If you want a board that does do that, there are only a few right now asfaik with the Z68 ud7 being one of them. Cheapest:

ASUS P8P67 WS REVOLUTION

mmm the P8p67 series amongst those what are the ones that can run in x16/x16 other than that? does the deluxe or pro does that?? from seeing the user manuals for the various mobos.... the WS Revolution and Deluxe p8p67 run at x16 if single card is used or dual x8s..

makes sense to go with MSI P67A-GD80?

Only the P67 boards with the NF200 controller can do x16/x16 in dual-card configurations. The WS Revolution will do it, the others will not. Dunno what manual you're reading, but it clearly even states that here:
http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Int...WS_Revolution/

This is ideal for NVIDIA GeForce SLIâ„¢ and AMD CrossFireXâ„¢, as the new motherboard can easily handle 2-Way SLI in dual PCI Express X16, while 3-Way SLI works in dual PCI Express X8 and one X16 link.

The GD80 is alright, but I find the GD65 to be just as good minus one PCI-E slot and port number differences. Not many buy the GD80 with the GD65 around.

After owning a SSD now for some time, I would advise picking one up, at least for your OS. It may be expensive but its money well spent for a quick n responsive comp. Def go woth a SATA 3 mobo and SSD combo if you do.

Builds looking good!
