Corsair H50/H70, Antec Kuhler 620/920 adaptor for GTX 480/570/580 interest?

So I have designed a bracket which will adapt the Asetek all in one units to the nVidia GPU.
I was considering making it myself or I can have a local machine shop laser cut it.
The only think left to do when you get it is to cut dremel out feet of the OEM bracket and glue this adaptor on it with epoxy. (+ screws and nuts for $1 at home depot)
The problem is that the cost will depend on the volume so if I get enough interest for it, I would go with the precision lasered part.

I got an estimate of roughly $30 to make it for qty of 20. I will be getting 3 for myself. I just want to see how many people would be interested in such a bracket and if its worth running a group buy.

Much more expensive and complex. I came from a full custom water cooling system and found it fun but to complicated to maintain. Yes they provide slightly better performance but the AIO have no maintenance at all. No evaporation, lower risk of leaks etc...

What you need?
1) The custom adapter bracket. Cost is $7 shipping included
2) A spare OEM Asetek bracket (one that comes from an H50, H70, Antec 620 or Antec 920)
3) Metal Epoxy. These are cheap find any one you like at your hardware store
4) 4 x #3 or #2 screws with length of 1-1/4" with the matching nut. Also $0.98 at HomeDepot for a set of 8 screw+nut.
Optionally you can go with a #4-40 but it will require a bit more work if you choose this since at this diameter, the screw interferes with the OEM bracket outer ring.
5) A dremel to cut the feet of the original OEM bracket.
6) A sheet of rough sanding paper. Any grit will do. It is just to remove the paint from the OEM bracket. It is optional but it sticks better this way.
7) A tube of your favorite TIM if you do not want to use the one which comes with your cooler.

Total cost of the mod:
Bracket $7
Epoxy $5
Screws $1
Antec Kuhler 620 $56
Cuting disk for the Dremel $2
=$71!



What to do?

A) Take the sanding paper and rub the custom bracket face you have choosen to stick to the OEM bracket
B) Sand the top of the OEM bracket lightly until the black paint is gone from the top surface of the narrow line.

Note that A and B are really optional. We are not going to rely on the epoxy to maintain pressure on the GPU anyway.
C) Follow the instruction on your tube of epoxy and spread the epoxy on the top surface of the OEM bracket you have just sanded and stick it to the adapter bracket. Wait for at least 30min. 24hrs to be 100% sure.


D) take the dremel and use the metal cutting disk to cut off the feet of the OEM bracket.
That's it! your bracket is made.


E) Remove the the cover of you graphic card. and take apart the "Vapor chamber" heatsink. There are quite a few videos on youtube showing you how to do it if you don't already know. On the GTX 580, I just had to remove 7 screws all around the side of the cover and then remove the 4 screws from the back which had springs on them.
F) Prep the surface of the GPU with IPA and the TIM you want to use.
G) Stick the 4 screws through the 4 screw locations from the back of the card and drop the bracket on the screws. Loosely start the nuts on the screw tread.

H) Install the cooler per the regular Asetek procedure by dropping it down and twisting it into the mechanism. Tighten the screw/nut down and you are done!

Still waiting for a few missing fans. Someone did this with an H70 and saw a drop of 38C under furmark compared to stock cooling and no "sandwiching" of cards. Knowing that I have 3 cards I hit 92C on my top two cards under furmark right now. Long weekend before I get my fans unfortunately...

Yes, If you could tell me the hole pattern on the ATI Card I can check to see if it can be fitted.
