I tried that too, It didnt work. It just made the loading screen last a LITTLE bit longer. But as some extra info, the time before the crash VARIES. Sometimes it loads longer before crashing, sometimes right off the bat. Does it have to do with the intro cutscene?

You run it in windowed mode yet?

I had to run it in windowed mode to exit the vault, then I could finish the game in fullscreen.

Tried windowed..... I have ALL setting on lowest WITH windows. It crashes during the loading screen of a new game. Right before the into, if I recall from the XBOX version.

Try running it at your native resolution, it could be an issue with your desktop changing res.

You might want to fill in your system specs too. Link

You can search the site for threads like this one for fixes (search bar at the top right ) , or even google just search with the name of this thread I am sure you will find plenty of answer ( and much faster than waiting for some one to post here ).

And post your system specs it might help to know what kind of hardware we are talking about !

Edit : Oh ? did not see your system . Is that an integrated card ? ( dont know if the i3m have a GPU on it ) I think this is your problem , it cant run Fallout 3 . I think .

My i3 540 on-die GPU could not even run Super Meat Boy before I got my card .
