Asus P6T, OCZ3G1600LV6GK Overclocking

Thread Starter
So I set the option in BIOS to DDR3-1600, changed the timings to 8-8-8-24 but I left the voltages all on auto and everything else on auto. Is there a downside to leaving voltages on auto? Since the BIOS will only let me change the DRAM Bus Voltage to either 1.64V or 1.66V, and the RAM is 1.65V.

Prime95 Blend Test failed after 20 minutes, I guess this won't work. What should I do for voltages?

1.66V is there because after droop, it's usually closer to 1.65V. I wouldn't leave things on auto. Sometimes they can set voltages much higher than you want.

I set DRAM Bus Voltage to 1.66V and tried QPI/DRAM voltages everywhere between 1.25-1.35V, nothing was stable.
Timings were 8-8-8-24-2N (rated timings) and I couldn't get anything. Will I have to touch the CPU Voltage or should I keep boosting QPI/DRAM? What's the max safe voltage for QPI/DRAM?

I would say that if your OCZ memory cant pass the blend test, when it's set to it's stock specs, then it's time to RMA it!

In that case I'd loosen your timings to 9-9-9-24

Lifetime limited warranty

I'd still RMA it, they'll probably upgrade you!
