Fan creating like a vortex noise? - Page 2

I made that piexiglass window. The stock one is ugly with the vent/slits and all. Plus whenever you mount a fan to the stock window, it creates like this whistling/humming sound. Pretty annoying.

That's hilarious how you described the sound: "wompwompwompwomp". But yeah just do some adjusting fan speeds and if there is anyway you can rearrange your hardware that might help too. Something to cause the airflow to be a little broken without being detrimental to the cooling could possibly help that sound.
