Small Mini ITX PC Spec / Advice

Hi,

I'm looking to build a small mITX based system. I've been looking at either of these 3 options -

ASUS P8H61-I with a Pentium G620T
a Zotac FUSION350-A-E
or I could go with an Athlon II X2 240e with a 880GITX-A-E motherboard for slightly more power

First two are around the same price, third option is most expensive.

I can recycle my slip optical drive and DDR3 RAM, maybe my SG05 but I want something a bit smaller, I really like the Antec ISK-300 but it may be too small?

Just wondering what your thoughts are on the 3 different platforms for some web browsing and some SD video/music playback.

Thanks!

All three will handle web browsing and watching SD video, even HD video.
Just pick cheapest combo if you want to save money. And note that Zotac board uses SODIMMs which are a little more expensive than normal desktop RAM.

Whether the Antec ISK-300 is too small depends on what you need to fit in it. If just 1 2.5 hard drive and the slim DVD Drive, it's fine.

How soon will you be building? Llano is coming out. Think of it as an E350 but a lot more performance for only a little more cost.

Next few weeks, which from what I've read is when Llano should be here?

Looking at the performance of the Llano A8-3850, it looks like a great sometimes game machine even. If you need that much performance in a secondary box, then go for it, but otherwise I'd say the 350.

Maybe. You should double check when you are actually ready to shell out money. Llano CPUs are already on a couple sites for pre-order with no ETA.
