If all you do is gaming, unless you play games with a lot of texture to load, he is right. It is unlikely that you will notice the difference. For everyday use on an OS drive, what matters is the random read. If you transfer a lot of large files, sequential matters more.

I have had a C300 128GB since August. It has ran without a problem.

Actually, for most people sequential does make any difference at all once you go above a certain level.

It doesn't matter if your SSD array can transfer files at 1000MB/s if the drive(s) you're transferring to/from can't go above 100MB/s. Since the larger C300s write at double the speed of the smaller drives, the only boost you get is to read speeds. And as a single C300 can already read at ~350MB/s you need to be doing pure sequential transfers to an array of at least 5 locally-connected modern drives in RAID0 before you can possibly see any increase in file transfer speed by RAIDing C300s.

Mehh you are stating the obvious when transferring from one drive to another. What I was talking about was actually loading large files for high res photoshoping or video editing. It does make a big difference when your file is 5-6GB etc...
