Cooling with Ice water

I was thinking about doing something like this
http://hackadaycom.files.wordpress.c...pg?w=470&h=353

But instead of the tube being funneled with cold air outside will it work with a styerofoam cooler thats filled with ice water.

Condensation will be your enemy depending on the humidity and change in relative temperatures, but with proper insulation and precautions you'd be fine. It's probably not worth it though, you'd see a 7-12 Celcius difference in air being pumped in, and gain maybe 3-6 off your CPU temperatures (pure speculation, but I don't see just cold air being that big of a difference in an overall warmer setting).

lol the best thing you can do is what I've done, set up cost maybe 50-60 dollar water cooled cpu ? copper block , and 3/8th tubing lol its pretty nice, i dump ice in there sometimes for ****s and giggles, my temps go from 40 Celsius(consistent, runs 43 at most under load) to about 17 Celsius , kinda funny to me, no condensation forms, for me at least.. but from the outside ? Iunno unless you lived in like " iceland " or something it would be in vain unless you planed to shut the air off during the summer or something, cause here, it gets about 100 or so, during summer, but its cold in winter so i guess thats a bonus
