This thread is ment to be a place of friendly atmosphere for people to exchange there ideas, show off there scores and enjoy reading through what others have to say... but everything you write is critique and pessimism... chill out dude.
exactly what i was about to say to you. he wrote a few sentences. you wrote a book in response lol im not sure he is the one that needs to chill

more on the topic, we do really need to stick to one standard as far as punctuation. that way, when everything goes into spreadsheets, KP can copy and paste all he wants from the forum into the spreadsheet.

if people put 10,000.00 and others put 10.000,00 it will be sorted numerically differently.

maybe the guy is just trying to contribute.

Ok gentlemen - back to over clocking and posting about over clocking the GTX 580.

Kung Pow is a great OP handling this thread and has gone above and beyond to make it better. Though he asks us how we'd like to see this thread evolve it's his thread to do as he sees fit. Having an opinon when he asks us is fair and we should be allowed to voice it without critism eve if we can be critical.

I know it's the passion inside of us and Kung Pow has taken it in stride with proper dilegence.

It's been a great learning experiecne and has allowed me to take my 580 to higher OC on air than I was willing to try prior. It's been fun as I'm learning about over clocking myself.

So let's all digress, PM each other if it dosen't have anything to do with the GTX 580 over clocking or thread direction when asked by OP.

I think we can all use a again.

ok gents, ive after a night of benching and ive managed to squeeze a bit more out of my 580s here are the updated single and sli scores followed by the oc proofs for single gpu and sli. If you have any ideas how I could improve my scores further please let me know btw im getting 2400mhz vipers next week, so hopefully the extra 200mhz on the ram will make a difference

3dmark 2011 single gpu score: 8686 pt

3dmark Vantage single gpu score: 34176 pt

3dmark 2011 SLI score: 14190 (15k on the gpus

3dmark Vantage SLI score: 48600 pt (managed to break 54k on the gpus

3dmark 05 single gpu score: 50935 pt (nearly 51k which is higher then my best score with a 6990 lol

First of all, 7x **snip**

Absolutely phenomenal!!

This is exactly the commitment this club stands for

I am actually really thrilled about how the RAM sticks are gonna behave and what they will contribute to the scores.

I am gonna educate myself a little further about the actual precise influence of the RAM on the benchmark scores though.
I now think that not only the frequency is essential even though it witholds the majority, but also the timings do play a marginal but important roll of squeezing the last bit of score out.

And a quick Hall of Fame update:
Benchmark Single Sheet is currently in progress, still working on the right format for the end result of all four sheets.

And our club designer YourBleakFuture is also working on the sub graphics of the club.

Here is a taste of a club Logo contestant graphic for the upcoming Club Logo voting

Sorry for the resolution, of course in the end to actually serve as Logo it will have to be comprimated.
These logos specifically were made by two other valuable members of the club´s graphics team, Corgon and Snelan, which are obviously very talented^^ so if you would like to thank them there you go
