Here's my best score so far: 1765.5 @ 1000/2400/1.2v

http://hwbot.org/submission/2202038_veblen_unigine_heaven___xtreme_preset_dx11 _geforce_gtx_580_1765.5_dx11_marks

Will post a picture here once I'm done running my other benchmarks.

As it turns out, the difference between my 980X @ 4.5GHz and 4.7GHz is about 0.4 Unigine points; pretty small.

Am really not sure why it isn't higher...would SB be better? It's just a pain to move the 580 to the SB rig; I don't have quick disconnects.

That is actually really interesting!

It is known that Heaven isn´t influenced by the CPU too much but a 980X at such frequ with those results is really nice to see^^

It would even be more interesting to see the comparison of influence with the Sandy...would be cool if you can try out

Indeed. It seems that most of the higher scores on the bot are on Sandy.

Will do it sometime next week when I get my new rads; will break down the loops and rearrange components for maximum benching.

Grrr, I should have put the 580 on my 2600K from the start. I forgot that's the rig on which my 480 held the #3 spot on 3Dmark11 for a couple of months. I have since slipped to 7th place. It was an eVGA reference card too; got up to 920 core.

3# is amazing
Yeah cool thing , be sure to try it out it will be really interesting to see.
It seems in our club the once with SB get the highest scores though, Khalam would be a monster example for that^^
That guy really has the OC spirit xD

And hey did you check out the first couple of club logos presented?
I posted it a few pages back and it got overposted pretty quickly.
We will do a logo voting shortly and a new member has been added to the clubs graphics team
Here check them out

Will do, KP. Am getting increasingly frustrated with my scores anyway. Just ran 3DMark06 and 05 and scores are dismal. Am waiting for 03 to finish right now.

Yes, Khalam is awesome; makes me want to get a SS phase unit too.

Oh yes, of the three logos, I vote for #1. I understand there'll be more coming from Sunny Sahota?

Edit: Oh man, I just looked at my scores on the bot and my 480 scores higher than my 580 on 06, 05 and 03?!

Dude?

I just checked our sheet and you got a +1 GHZ core?

Sry I started with the SLI Benchmark sheet so I don´t have track of your bench scores but I am sure you beast out Vantage and 3DMark 11?oO

980x + +1GHZ 580 should result in a monster score?
And I am more than sure that they are?

Forget 3DMark06^^ it isn´t a reliable source for performance determination anymore especially with newer cards

3DMark11 & Vantage are the most popular right now at the most platforms.
And I wanna try to introduce Heaven a bit more to our club and to the other forums we get referenced to.

That's right, KP. 1.01GHz to be precise.

Scored 8323 in 3DMark11 and 34025 in Vantage; decent but since I've pretty much maxed out my GPU, I'm going for higher overall scores and am hoping that the 2600K in excess of 5GHz can do that.

I definately think that the Sandy will give you a more efficient performance boost

But if you would like to improve your benchmark scores otherwise you could join the "experiment" Khalam and I am conducting by precisely determining how exactly the RAM impacts the bench scores the best

Also very important and often recommended by the HWBOT oldies is cleaning up your software environment.

Giving your benchmark process the highest priority in taskmanager for example or closing any other process at the time.

There are a lot of ways to tune your OS and software to establish perfect benchmark conditions

Optimally you could even use a Benchmark OS specifically created for the most extreme
