My cards topped out at 50c each running 3dmarks vantage and 11. They idle @ 30c.

Noticed on my Kill-A-Watt I was pumping out 1150-1250w when benching, so that's ~1050-1100w. I made a thread asking if my old ocz 1000w would handle triple sli 580s. Good thing I made the choice in switching to a 1.25kw psu

Lol
3x GTX 580´s shouldn´t pull that much?
The real pull, is less.

Do you have a Voltmeter?
If you had a Lightning you could measure the directly on the card

Just my kill-a-watt which measures at the wall, multiply by efficiency and Im pulling more then 1kw. I know the psu can go higher than the rated wattage but I wanted some overhead. My new psu is rated ~1.5kw max.

Guys quick question for ya.

I have a problem with the benchmark sheets.
What information would you like to have on them?
I want the sheet to fit the page so it can´t have "Name","Vendor","Cooling","Model","OC" and all benchmark results.

I thought of just saying the name, Model, cooling and the benchmark results.
The OC can then be seen on the OC sheet.

Or would you like to have the OC settings on the spreadsheet as well so you can immediately see how high the member scored with the applied OC?

Would it be inconveniant to have to look at the OC sheet in order to check on the gpu´s OC and to look at the Bench sheet in order to just see the scores?

I think that cooling, clocks, and voltage would be the best field to have displayed. Maybe add if it's a reference or non-reference card if there is room.

When I did some 4 way sli 580 runs I was pulling ~1800w from the wall, 1 x psu for 1 gpu, mobo & cooling, 1 x psu just for 3 x overclocked 580s, which pulled 918w according to the kill-a-watt. just under 250w each after factoring in 80% efficiency.

His cards are only oc´ed to 950MHZ core though.
still +1000W is a lot, but those measurments have been reported to be sometimes inaccurate.
I have heard that only with a Voltmeter the true pull of the GPU can be determined.

If I had a Voltmeter I would do the test the difference.

1800W ...are you serious?
at 1GHZ core though and LN2?
lol even for you that sounds crazy^^

I participated in test conducted by Pheadrus for the amd 69xx series. Oc'd to 950 each of the three 6950s and running furmak and ibt w/ my cpu @ 4.9, I pulled +1100w @ the kill-a-watt. Which translated to ~900-950w. I learned quite a bit on that experiment hence why I didn't risk my setup with three 580s. I'm sure if I replicate this furmark and ibt test I'd be pulling close to 1400w from the wall, maybe more

Waiting for an LG1155 mb with dual nf200 to run quad sli 580 3gb (maybe have to wait for lg2011 )

The OC can then be seen on the OC sheet.
I think you can remove Vendor like your suggestion, the model already tells most of the information. I personally like the above suggestion - you could even remove the cooling part and replace it with temps as most new people I'd assume are most interested in clocks vs. temps and what kind of score they can expect.

With the link they can see the rest of the information...
