You might be getting minor difficulties though, since you are only on 4 cpu threads, and on a H50 against his 8 cpu threads and SS cooler.
Haha Yeah I'm going to push it as soon as it gets cooler around here. Its hotter now than it was in june for some reason. H50 is getting upgraded soon, maybe by next weekend. It was really just a hold-over until I get something better, probably the H100 since I don't care to make a custom loop any more these days. I want to see how far I can push it on air, otherwise I wouldn't have gotten the matrix cards

Do those cards actually light up? Looks like it and looks pretty sweet, or is it just the flash?

They light up and indicate activity. Green is 2D idle but they usually stay blue and then move up to red as they get stressed more and more. Heres a short cell-phone clip of the first benchmark in 3Dmark11.

ya that matrix light is sexy, one of the reasons i bought this card. Very difficult to keep the lights and shroud/fans when i put it on water. Well worth it.
You only see green if you safemode the card and reboot but there is like 11 different colors the card will change too..

Got any pics of that setup you're using? I'd really like to see it.

That is indeed very cool! Wish my Lightnings had lighting (other than the green and red which I can't even decipher anyway)...

Its distracting too, when I bench I look at the pretty colors instead of paying attention to the screen for artifacts.

Heres the build log ive been whoring for a while now Scorpion49

http://www.overclock.net/nvidia-cool...i-corsair.html

The first card is a Zotac 560ti, hit 1275core using the H70 mod. I was going to leave the Matrix alone but i could not, just had to try and glad i did. The Matrix mod is lower down that thread and into the second page. I thought i best to just add to my original thread for ease and such...

Just thought to add here that the Corsair H70 was not modded, ive gotten alot of comments about that. The idea of this all came about when i was looking for stupid simple ways to improve things. I wanted nicer waterlines so i went about sleeving them but i did not cut or mod the h70 to do so.
Here is a build log of my sleeved waterlines for the H70. The idea started and finnished in this thread but it was not about sleeving the h70...it did end that way. Post 12 is where the pics start and it is fairly short so no worrys
http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?s...&#entry1250735

I only like to do mods that are simple stupid easy and dont cost alot of money, that is the whole point of my mods
