Is this in 3DMark11? I've never got a BSOD from unstable video card OC before, either my display driver crashes(most common) or my system hardlocks. Out of curiosity, what temps are you hitting when you BSOD? Have you tried the cards individually?

I've heard that BSOD code to be caused by the new beta drivers quite a few times, let me find a link. Do not make any more CPU, or BIOS changes in the mean time as I'm fairly sure this is a GPU driver issue.

EDIT: Here's one thread that says they cause BSOD 124s especially for SLI users. I know I saw one that mentioned them causing 116 BSODs as well so let me try to find that one.

More.

This one claims to be related to the MSI AB beta, and the windows support team also seems to think that it is GPU driver related. I would start troubleshooting in the GPU software (drivers and MSI AB) direction rather than your CPU OC or other BIOS settings.

HMMMMMMmmm....getting low FPS when I run Batman Arkham Asylum benchmark.

1.0880v +13% OC on Core/Shader +5% Memory atm.

Switched from MSI Afterburner to EVGA Precision thinking it might be bug, etc. Presicion brings same. It stutters jaggedly and slows progress till end, last scene it's smooth again. End result, 22FPS average.

Known bug? Fix? Heat temps varies from normal.

Wow...update - turned off Hardware accelerated physx and it's fine. 198 FPS average. Figured out it was software setting related.

ran my cards on 900MHz core last night, crashed at 950 ... @ 1.15V
How can I unlock higher voltages, and what is considered safe? Maximum temperature so far has been 76 degrees, so still have room for higher voltage.

Hoping I can post a nice benchmark result this weekend

I'm using Afterburner and the voltage is still at stock, is this a good overclock so far?

I've done preliminary stability testing and it's good so far, I'm gonna do full testing using 3dmark 11, Furmark, and EVGA OC Scanner for a couple of hours to fully test for stability.

Is this normal so far?
Thats fine, I agree with the others, ditch furmark and oc scanner. I use 3d mark, Heaven bench and right now BF3. A super clock is 797mhz lol, they couldn't just put it at 800? I say just go for 900, but thats just me. Anything below is a small oc.

+rep by the way
Gpus aren't like cpu's. We don't need to stress test for long periods of time.

0x116 = Low IOH (NB) voltage, GPU issue (most common when running multi-GPU/overclocking GPU)

That's the advise on the error code, but raising VCCIO (tried up to 1.175v) doesn't change anything. Went back to stock CPU / RAM settings and it still happens without fail. I can raise CPU volts + clocks and it's a non-issue but as we're chasing GPU score here.. have I hit the limit or is it my parts? I'd accept it if it complained about driver falling over etc, but this 116 is a PITA.
Going by your sig rig, you're on 1155. Try raising the PCH voltage (you don't have IOH in BIOS, right? I'm too lazy to check on mine.) On my 1366 rig, I have IOH set to 1.24v (stock is 1.1v) for 480s in SLI; if not, I'll keep getting bccode 116 even at stock.

Also, have you tried just one card to see how high it can clock? I use that as a guide to overclock my SLI setups. Typically, you have to take it a couple of notches below the max OC you can get with one card.

As a last thing, try a different SLI bridge if you have one available but your best shot is to raise PCH (IOH) voltage.

For me, aside from F@H, I use HWBOT's Unigine Heaven. I typically have to lower my otherwise stable clocks in 3DMark11 to successfully complete Unigine.

My gpu is at 925 yours is at 950, and you got 500 points more then me, what is the deal with that. 3dmark seems to be so random. I know I won't get 500 more points if I jump 50mhz.

He has his memory higher than yours and is using a 2600k. The extra threads give a few hundred points. The other day I noticed between 250-300 point gains with 50mhz increases.
