Anyone else see high temps with this game?
Whoa that is really hot!

Wow, something doesn't seem right there. My reference 580 never got above 73c at 925 during gaming or benching. Never tested that game though, I do have the demo though.

Does your case have crappy airflow?

These MSI Lightnings vent into the case so the top card is usually 10c hotter than the bottom but the hottest I've seen before playing this game was around 80c. Thats why I wanted to see if anyone else expirienced a jump in temp playing this game. I had it at 32xAA vsync off @1200p. Game looked great by the way and fun as hell.

Stock: 797 Core, 1594 Shader, 2025 Memory

Overclock (stock voltage): 885 Core, 1770 Shader, 2025 Memory (untouched)

Played 2 hours of Crysis 2, and everything seemed stable. Gonna run 3dmark 11 and Unigine Heaven for more stability testing. Max temps while gaming were a pretty high 89C though, it won't ruin my card will it?

Nice work. Doing some of my own leg work since I have the same GPU. Run that 3DMark11 bench and post it's results bud.

I haven't played that game but if you're really running at 1.25v then that's your reason. That's really really high volts even for these cards. I don't expect you really need those volts for those clocks, but even if you do I would lower your clocks and volts to a more sane level. The most I think this cooler can reliably handle is about 1.17-1.18v so I would try and maximize your clocks at those volts at the most.

Display scaling mode: Centred

I scored 7310 on version 1.0 but after updating to 1.0.20 it went down to 7248. And trust me, I'm not a bench nut so I haven't done the billion and one tweaks that hardcore benchers do to maximize their scores
