So with my little experiment earlier, I did get heaven to run 30 mins straight but it turns out, that nvidia inspector doesn't report the correct voltage! It only reports the 3 presets that are present in your card' BIOS. My performance preset was 1.013V per my BIOS! But that wasn't the voltage the card was running at -- I enabled voltage monitoring in AB and found it was actually higher.

I was running +80mV for the benchmarks so I was actually at 1.093V frown.gif

Guess I didn't get the golden chip afterall. Still happy though, love my MSI smile.gif

To the earlier poster (vitality!): you can see your voltage in MSI afterburner in settings | 3rd tab (monitoring) scroll down and click Voltage monitoring. Also in tab 1 you must have unlock voltage and unlock voltage monitoring checked!

Wait so if I'm understanding this correctly, wouldn't that mean I was right?

Yup, 1.013v was too good to be true I was actually at 1.08v but nvinspect was reporting 1.013 (my bios preset). I'm still stable at 960 though so its all good my voltage is just higher than originally thought

BTW: now that you have 3 cards (right?), maybe you can remove your older entry

Kcuestag as mentioned before I have to do the whole spread sheet again since KP took the originals with him and I want to have at least 10 entries before I put it up same with the photo gallery, I dont have access to any of Kung Pows work so they are just there until I make my own ones. Which means you got time to improve them scores oc that blck you will see a big boost, especially that your sli 580s are choking at that cpu speed

Bottleneck at 4.8GHz? let me doubt that.

Also, I ain't going to push the i7 further, 4.8Ghz on a Corsair H80 is already on the limit (About 74-75ºC while Folding), and I don't feel like pushing the cards either.

Bro i can see the gpu score scaling all the way up to 5500mhz!!! And thats with a single 580;-) truth be told i think these beasts have more in them its just the cpus that are too slow:-( do me a favor and monitor what temps are you getting on the cpu when running 3dmark11. Did you change the fans on your h80? I had an antec kuhler 920 and i was getting 72-76C when benching vantage at 5400mhz... only thing thas different between the two are the fanss.

I don't play benchmarks, I play games to enjoy the game it's self, and the computer I paid for, not to get paranoid about my neighbor having more points than me in 3DMark11.
