Card really is working great for me! So excited! 1.1V, I backed it off to 890Mhz, seems to be a little more stable, higher scores in heaven and seems to be smoother. I figure I can't do much more overclocking due to my 600w PSU. But that's fine, the thing really pumps out the fps in games.

450

I'll take 47-48C max temp anyday.

That's a pretty slick mod. Looks clean.

im sitting at 1.1 for 895/2200 with my 580s, 1.15 seems kinda high, i can get almost 950 core with that. Could be different seeing that you have the 3gb cards though

Sitting at the same core MHz and voltage as you bru. Haven't tried higher voltage yet. Will wait for more VRM cooling before I go up.

Got my card to work at 970MHzand got around P8000 however I decided to go big (Since I have super sexy warranty so I could literally fry this card and just go to the shop and get a new one at my own will) \

So I tried 1002 MHz just for teh lulz.

Needless to say it crashed. However I realized I hadn't turned up voltage all the way. Should I try it again with voltage at the max? I have found this card very good for overclocking so far, and I feel like it still is possible to achieve.

(I was running fans at 95% and temps hardly exceeded 70)

I know this card can hit 1GHz on air, as it seems this card was a good investment and is easy to overclock. The last thing I want is to have to return this card and pick up a new one that can't even hit 900MHz.

What to do, what to do.

Hey guys. Got a question for ya.

I can't get past 910Mhz no matter the voltage I get. What voltages does it take to get past 910MHz for everyone? I feel like its my PSU struggling to provide the juice... I'm now down to 1.088v @ 890MHz stable but for some reason, 915-920MHz @ 1.100-1.113-1.125V doesn't work at all...bummer

At default 1.0880mV stock voltage I sat at 900Mhz Core 24/7 stable. Not 1 Mhz past that. With a voltage bump my highest obtainable OC was 950Mhz not 1 Mhz over.

Each card is different. Top on air if lucky with over volt is 950 Mhz for 99.9% of the 580 owners. See home page of club thread.

Try bumping it to 900 Mhz for a great 24/7 OC bud. thumb.gif

Here's my overclock trends charts in excel. Hope you guys like. As you see, as it gets closer to 900MHz the voltage and slope of the line increases alot...
371
Just the voltages and clocks flipped:
397

Temps are irrelevant...stay's below 50C under load... thumb.gif

Oh well. That's quite a darn powerful card for me. I see a 60% performance increase from my overclocked 560 to the overclocked 580...
