Tell me pls, why we need to enter some definite mem clock? For example, for 950 MHz core clock, we need 2153 mem clock.

Or we can forget about this linkage and enter our desired clock (2200, 2300+ MHz)?

This, I don't even bother with MEM clock as it brings so little benefit while taking away (possibly) core clock ability.

Does anyone with an AXP find it beneficial (temperature wise) to remove pci-e covers on your case? If so, above or below the card?

Question for ya guys. Green flickering....in BF3. I had the issue for a little bit when I clocked my mem to 2300... I fugure its a memory OC issue. That right? I downclocked to my normal 2100 and it went away. I didn't leave it at that clock for a few seconds after I saw the green flickering. I knew something was wrong.
What's the best way for determining a "stable" memory OC? Just watch for those green flickering or what? I can usually bump it to 2250 and its just fine. According to the reviews of all the 580's on TechPowerUp, I should easily be able to get 2300 but I guess not...

Does anyone with an Antec New TP-750 and a 580 hear loud buzzing coming their PSU under load?

I used Heaven in the first instance @ 2400 and 3DMark11 which was fine then tried BF3. It ran fine for the first day @ 2300. But then next day the screen froze with green artifacts, all worked fine so I just exited - I then tried 2250 but same thing, I had to drop mine down to 2200 for BF3 to run nicely.

There's so little benefit with raising MEM I don't really see the point tbh.

I think I remember a good 1FPS increase from overclocking memory. It's not a huge benefit, I see about a 2% increase in FPS for every 12% memory overclock...

My GPU seems quite happy at 1.1v @ 900MHz core and 2200mem
