The ones with an nf200 (UD7, P67/Z68 FTW, WS, MIVE, Z68 Extreme7, etc) can do 3-way sli. I did own a few nf200 p67 boards that ran 3-way with no issues. The only current platforms that can do 4-way sli is X79 and Z77 (using the PLX chip).

thought about x79 but with the price of the chips then finding a board that is solid is a pain. if i did it would be a 3930 and a big bang xpower 2, but thats a ways down the road. for now i like messing with the z77 stuff.

this up7 seems to be a tank built board man. thing is very responsive. i liek the line load calibrations. they stay VERY stable. easy setup and all too.

I briefly had an Asrock X79 Pro with quad 480s. I think the mb held back the 3820 from clocking stable and easily beyond 4.66. Well, for X79, everyone seems to hold the RIVE high so that would be my personal choice with a 3930K. Though, my wallet can stretch that far, I'll stick with the reasonable lga1155 redface.gifsmile.gif

Dang man, that is a sweet OC thumb.gif Are you stable in a benchmarks with that oc. My max was about 1017 back with a amd 1055t and gigabyte 890 mobo. I modded a H70 to the gpu and could get in the 1020-ish mark. With the new MIVE and a 2700k ive seen the OC increase again but ive never been able to keep that high even just booting into windows. 1050ish benchmarkable in Unigine and a bit higher with Vantage... or the other way around, its been awhile since I benchmarked so its a bit fuzzy.

Those classys are very nice cards. IM JELLY

yes those cards benchmark at those speeds. heres a link to my results i put up with 3 cards. didnt hit 1070 but i got all 3 to 1055 on this board through multiple benchs back to back for like 2 hours.

Submit that to the ocn 3d11 thread. You'll jump ahead of my old quad 480s and I'll be in 30th place waiting for some one to bump me off biggrin.gif

Can't wait for my new quads to bench biggrin.gif

i think i did submit one into the 3dm11 thread already. that was 3 way sli. i hope to get over 20k with 4 cards this time.

ive really got to get a second card. Its like a bird trying to fly with one wing
post #3049 of 3582
4th card came in and putting it through its paces smile.gif

I'm pushing the power consumption so a bigger psu is in order imho.

edit: psu was hitting as high as 1200w at the Kill-A-Watt. Factor in the ac-to-dc and I'm pulling ~1000w at the psu in 3-way. And this is with stock clocks on everything eek.gif. I believe my psu can handle quads, but its hard to say. Its a great psu and its from a great company. I'll do a little testing in quad w/ stock clocks to be safe frown.gif
