Question: I'm a tad worried about game performance. The 6870 is obviously not top of the line and I'm hoping to run Battlefield 3 at max when it comes out. Looking at BF:BC2 benchmarks for the card I'd be lucky to get a 40fps average. Should I go with a 6950 or go crossfire with the 6870?

EDIT: Jumping up to a 6950 from MSI.

I said negative? Lemme see...

I don't know what I was thinking.

thanks for the catch.

EDIT:

wait, no, I'm confusing myself now. More exhaust fans means negative pressure. I have 3 exhaust and 2 intake. top two exhaust, backside exhaust. front and side intake.

I wasn't sure if the Windows 7 question you posed in your OP was addressed but, you should be fine with just the OEM disk. I've done a handful of builds using window 7 home premium OEM disks without a hitch. Hope this helps!

Goodluck with your build, I'll try to follow it!
