Help me reach 2000Mhz Dram

Thread Starter
Hey everyone, just got my new 2000 mhz rated dominator ram and for the life of me cant get them to run at the rated speed i tried:

-decrease cpu clock
-losen timings 8-9-8-24 is stock
-running ram slower then 2000 (seems i cant get past around 1600-1700)

Currently i have the timing at 6-7-6-23 @ 1600, should i just keep this or would i see better benchmark with a higher mhz?

my system spec is below and here are some pics of my BIOS

(new to this let me know if the link works) i also uploaded the BIOS pics in a album on my profile

I doubt a 1.25 QPI voltage is ever going to run a 2000mhz kit at it's rated speed. I'd say go for 1.4v on the QPI and see what that gets you (running stock CPU clocks for now).

It worked, I was able to see pics. Like was mentioned above, I'd try 1.4v or so. I run mine 1.4v for daily and higher when try to push the ram.

On an overclock I wouldn't bother with getting 2000mhz though, it took me more QPI then I was willing to pump in (for a stable overclock that is).

Yeah I'd say so. I personally get a bit wary when it gets close or over 1.5v
