Cheers for the suggestion dude - I'll take a quick look at the Antec PSU, although I must admit I'm drawn to the Corsair as it is 100% modular and I would like to sleeve it without voiding my warranty, whereas the Antec is only partially modular. However, if it genuinely performs very well then it may well be something to consider.
I appreciate the advice regarding the SSD too - my understanding is that they wear with use, so I straight will not use it for anything except my OS and PS. I figured 90GB was headroom for more programs in the future if I need it.

I'd go for something like a Corsair AX850 up to a Silverstone Strider Gold 1000W.
I agree mate! However the reason I'm looking at 1200w is futureproofing - I am going to sell off the 590 and invest in Kepler GTX 680 (or equivalent) SLi next year. I will also be adding radiators and pumps. I figure now is the best time to swap out for a larger PSU as I will need it when the time comes.
Thanks for taking the time to fire some advice my way. + Rep to you both.
