CaseLabs TH 10 BUILD LOG MADNESS

I have been "seeking" the perfect case and I have found it, at least for my needs.

CaseLabs (CL) is somewhat new to most of us, however this case is a H20 coolers dream. I e-mailed CL on June 11 and asked numerous questions. June 11 was a Saturday and much to my surprise Jim at CL sent me a reply that night. The rest is history.

I am happy to report that I am a very proud owner of a CL TH 10 with pedestal. In all of my years (20+) building, modding, cooling and spending countless sums of money, I have never touched anything like CL's case. The attention to detail is meticulous and Jim's passion is obvious. This case is not only a H20 coolers dream, but a true enthusiast's dream come true.

I have been very fortunate to own exotic cars and this is an exotic case. Jim's case is a blend of Bentley, Ferrari, Porsche, Aston Martin, Range Rover and the sturdiness of a Hummer and a Ford GT.

This case gives you everything and more. CL's attention to detail is unsurpassed in every detail. It has everything an enthusiast wants, soup to nuts. The packaging is unreal by any any standard. The powder coating is flawless and so is everything else included with the case. Jim leaves nothing to chance! On with the pics......

Nice packaging ....

2" of Styrofoam all around!

Like I said, 2" of Styrofoam!

DSC03919.jpg

Once you get through all of the Styrofoam, you find the case in some heavy duty Mil Spec Plastic

DSC03921.jpg

It's not my camera, just thick plastic! Outstanding CL!!

Let me slip into something more comfortable, or out of;)

The packaging regarding the accessories are outstanding too....

DSC03928.jpg

Every bag has been hand labeled!

DSC03930.jpg

Attention to detail! These screws have been dipped in black...Excellence IMO

DSC03935.jpg

More attention to detail. Black thumb screws with springs and they will not pop out!

DSC03939.jpg

We all know about sliding MB trays, CL has taken it to a different level. The CL glides where others slide, very ingenious. Notice the black strip....NICE!
The back of the MB tray is removable too.

DSC03940.jpg

DSC03941.jpg

DSC03942.jpg

I almost forgot, the pedestal box....

DSC03943.jpg

Same great packaging, 2" all around and heavy plastic!

DSC03945.jpg

DSC03946.jpg

The pedestal can accommodate 2 120.4's and 6 pumps!

DSC03951.jpg

DSC03953.jpg

The front of the pedestal offers many options just like the entire case. When it comes to fans, your options are endless. You can mount 140's or 120's, CL has left stone unturned.

Just a teaser pic regarding tomorrows post.......

DSC03959.jpg

Cheers!

My work is done and I could not be happier! First a few more pics and then my summary and opinion, like anyone cares....

The MB tray has a removable back plate.

DSC03960.jpg

DSC03961.jpg

Here is a pic with the back plate mounted. Hmmm, what are those rubber things?

DSC03962.jpg

One of the most ingenious things that I have ever seen. I believe this is a first, I may be wrong, but this is meticulous attention to detail!

DSC03963.jpg

Outstanding, bench test with your own MB tray, who knew? BTW, this is not an option, it is included!

Here is the top with the ventilated cover removed.

DSC03965.jpg

Toto, we are not in Kansas... Yes, you can mount two 120.4's up top!

Now a look at the bottom....

DSC03966.jpg

Toto, we must be in Texas? And yes, you can have two 120.4's down here too!

I decided to remove one bottom panel and this will allow me plenty of room for tubing and cables. This was a nice surprise as I cannot bring myself to get out my step drill!

DSC03967.jpg

For those of you that have asked about "filling up the case," it can happen. And, remember this is before tubing for 3 loops, 6 SSD's, Aquadrive X-4, 3 Aquaero XT's, Aqua Muliswitch, Aqua Poweradjust 2 ( 3 with mounting plate), 3 Rads and 5 pumps!

DSC03971.jpg

In summary, CL makes the best cases available, period! The quality is as close to perfect as possible. Jim and the CL team are purist and their passion is obvious. This case was designed by an enthusiast and someone that truly understands H20 cooling.

The little things get my attention. This case allows for 120 or 140 fans, pre-drilled. I have tried all day to find a flaw, to no avail. I cannot find a flaw, which really pisses me off. Well, not really, but you get my point. This is engineering at its finest and outstanding planning.

The pro's are obvious and I honestly have no cons. Some of you may say that this case is expensive, wrong! This case will last you for many years.

It is made in the USA and I am extremely proud to own one.

TheSeeker scale is 1-8 and CL gets an 8!

I could type and talk all day about CL, but I will not. I will say this, it is not a Ferrari, Bentley or an Aston-Martin. This is a Bugatti Veyron! I don't own one, but I have had the opportunity to drive three of them. Then again, since it is made in the USA, it could be a Ford GT?

BGT2.jpg

Cheers, Buy the CL!

redonkulous

It makes the main board look like a mini atx board

Should at least have a SR-2 in that case.

Should be a sweet build, can't wait to see more.

I'm more impressed by the fact that you've owned cars such as "Bentley, Ferrari, Porsche, Aston Martin."
