or mount a pedestal on top with a little modding and one under your case and TADA a STH10!!!! biggrin.gif

Very close! You only missed the divider. The top chassis section is different too, but the SMH10 version will work.

The divider is different also??

But aint the http://www.caselabs-store.com/flex-bay-hdd-cage-assy/ the same length no matter what case you put them in? No matter if you have a S3 or an STH10 for instance? The dimensions of the HDD cage with harddrives in them must still be the same no matter what case you put it in?

Perhaps asking about the dimensions of the HDD cage for the flexbay system with space for a 25mm fan with harddrives mounted would had been smarter of me tongue.gif haha. Length x Width x Depth in centimeters or inches would be just what I need. Including mounted HDDs. Like you said, the HDDs made the entire installation a little bit longer so I'm asking for the dimensions with 4 HDDs mounted.

Yup. The most obvious thing you would notice is the cable mgt hole in the SMH10 divider. There are also reliefs for the grommets on the top chassis. I think the last thing is the drives cage mounts on the back side. They needed to change for the 3.5'' opening in the switch plate.

Yes, its the same cage, MAC-102. I mean that we changed the entire design. The HDD cage got an update (revision) just so it would work with the S3. I don't have the exact clearance available, but there is just enough room to mount a MAC-102 in the Flex-Bay of a S3 (with drives) without it inferring with the motherboard.

hmm...

is there any reason why the 480 flex bay rad mount isn't supported for the smh10? seeing as the smh10 has 13 bays, i only want to use the rad mount for fans as it'll look more uniform.

It fits. It you use the filters in the radiator mount section, you will see that it fits the SMH10. There was a note on the bottom stating what cases it fits, but I just removed it because it was VERY out of date.

You would use this one: http://www.caselabs-store.com/standard-hdd-cage-assy/

You can get the standard HDD cage, but unless you want two cages, you can just get the fan mount and swap the cage over.
