OMG that is sick Vcore at 5.5GHz drool.gif
5GHz with HT enabled will be at 1.20v perhaps??

Agreed smile.gif It's time to Enabled PLL Overvoltage at that case.
Are you trying to get 4.8GHz with these setting? Quite new to me smile.gif I usually use Adjust CPU ratio to 48 or use Turbo Clock OC by set all core to 48.
Don't use Auto Vcore at 4.8GHz it will be too much, I guess max Auto Vcore better use at 4.5GHz.

PLL OverVoltage was enabled in all of my attempts. thumb.gif

I also OC by all cores since I do not need a permanent hich clock.I tried OC beyond 4.5GHz and posted settings per succesful attempt.Yes I really shouldn't have left max Vcore at Auto but this is something I wiil try another time cause I really need some better cooling solution - my humble H50 (dual fan push/pull) has reached its limits. At 1.4V (@4.7GHz full load) I had almost 90C max CPU temp, which of course isn't what I was aiming for.

every chip is different I realize that.
my other 2500K isn't nearly as solid as the one in my CPU-Z shot and my 3570K runs on the same voltage @ 4.4GHz
that my 2500K (CPU-Z shot) does almost 1.312V.... makes me so mad.... mad.gif

but a quality motherboard and power supply is what's important in my eyes.
my P8P67 WS Rev B3 (NF200) has a 16+4 VRM as well as x16/x16 on the guns.
I've had plenty of chances to upgrade it to a Z68 or Z77 but I do not use SRT or Virtu so why even bother.
it's that solid.

Our 2500K's are about identical in their clocking. :o

Wow, indeed Sandybridge CPU's are dead easy to OC, compared to Nehalem and C2D's

After a bit of tinkering, like in 4 hours:

LINK

That is with every setting on auto, offset voltage. Stable on P95 and BOINC.

I'll be tinkering with it more next weekend, now i got to have something stable for the BOINC BGB event biggrin.gif
