I guess if you thought about if you want ATx or mATX.

I will not need SLI. I would like an ATX board. mATX would look funny in my case.

Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H is a great overclocking board and will let you overclock that 2500k to the chips limits.

I like that board. Last time I used Gigabyte the board failed on me in 3 months, but that was back in 2004. Might have to try them again.

I do fold and I am a light gamer. Nothing crazy though. Just wanted to use this to take a step into Overclocking and my friend sold me this chip and a video card for $100 so I thought it would be a great time to do so.

I have a GA-Z77 board, it's OK and the BIOS is buggy with the mouse still but better with the latest BIOS update.
ASUS is my first choice.

Thanks! I will also be using this to take a leap into watercooling. I will start with cooling just the CPU until I can get enough money for a new GPU and block for it.

ASUS is my first choice too, but I can't really afford the prices for ASUS right now. In my new build that will happen next year I will be buying another ASUS board.

Thanks for the advice! + for all
